Desert Air is a fully licensed air charter company and operates strictly according to the regulations of Namibia's Civil Aviation Authority. Our selection of single- and multiengine aircraft are maintained according to international safety standards, and are piloted by highly qualified and experienced commercial pilots. Desert Air offer our professional services for general air charters, be it only for a couple of hours, day trips or even lengthy excursions.

Desert Air pilots are fully qualified professional tour guides, capable of explaining every aspect of the country and its natural wonders in detail.

Thys Rall (right) started his flying career in 1975 and now has close to 8000 hours of flying experience throughout Africa. Desert Air was founded in 1995 and today prides itself on a solid position in a very competitive tourism and charter market, utilising top of the range pressurized turboprop Aero Commanders, the well known Cessna Grand Caravan and a variety of twin and single engine piston aircraft including the stalwart, Cessna 210.
