Lüderitz
Lüderitz was the setting of the early diamond rush. Since then all that remains of this era is Kolmanskop, the early mining town, now a completely deserted ghost town. Another previously busy mining town is Elizabeth Bay, called Lüderitzbucht in the last century. Fly past the famous rock arch Bogenfels to Aus where you stop over to view the wild horses of the desert.
