Pilots are required to:

Revalidation Check – What’s Covered

Revalidation checks include both an oral assessment and a flight evaluation by a DFE, and may cover:

Normal flight operations and standard procedures
Abnormal and emergency handling
Aircraft-specific advanced handling techniques
Crew procedures and human factors
IFR operations for Instrument Rating holders (where applicable)

Training and evaluation are conducted in the relevant aircraft or in an approved Flight Simulation Training Device (FSTD), in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Hire & Fly

Desert Aviation Academy offers a flexible Hire & Fly option for pilots at various stages of their training. In addition to delivering personalised, high-quality flight training, we provide access to aircraft for students who need to build hours toward their Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) or who wish to fly for personal proficiency and enjoyment
